I think people like him right now because he is the "non-politician". I think people are so disgusted with Washington right now that any outsider with a plan seems preferable to another politician. Besides, he's charismatic. He's charming. He seems to have a sense of humor. People think he gets it. In much the same way that people embraced Obama's "hope and change" message, people are still looking for someone with a message that things can get better. He's picking up a lot of contributions, which will help him get the message out.

I keep telling y'all that Hillary won't run. I think Hillary has no desire to get back into that mess. Better to go out at the top of the opinion poll, than getting down in the mud. Like Condi Rice - she escaped and she's not going back.
