   A friend of mine who had a small manufacturing company in B'ham related the following story to me:

    He had an opening for a salesman when a woman, who was totally unqualified, applied. She threatened to file a sexual harasment suit if she didn't get the job. Aganist his better judgement, he gave her a chance and as expected she proved not to be up to it. She was removed and quit. She then filed a sexual harasment suit against him. At a meeting with her lawyers he was told that the whole thing could be settled for $12,000. She would get $9000 and the lawer would get $3000 otherwise he would be dragged endlessy through the courts. Gritting his teeth, he paid.
    It would be much more honest if they just used a pistol to rob with!
