I put a Moultrie feeder that I got at Bass Pro Shop on the end of my pier (it has a directional dispenser so I don't get feed all over my pier and in the boat).  I also have a Green Monster light as most of the fish come after dark.  The first year I used a mixture of floating and sinking fish food and had lots of small catfish and small bream.  the second year, I used floating food only.  it's more fun to watch and 100% of the food is eaten.  The bream and catfish were much bigger.  I wonder if they were the same fish, just well fed.  One word of caution, you will need to build a racoon-proof cage for your feeder.  If you don't, they will eat the food, throw the feeder in the lake, then use your boat an a porta-potty (see my earlier post regarding Osma Bin Racoon)
