Copper, you are all over the place with this post so I will try my best to deconstruct. Apparently right wing radicals have done a lot of damage that I haven't heard of in the 23 years I have lived in the south. Now I am aware of all the bombings and other criminal acts by left wing radicals in the 60's but the other stuff eludes me. Now as for hangings, you surely must be mistaken if you attribute those acts to right wing radicals, whatever or whomever they may be. I presume you are referring to hangings in the old south (last one reportedly in 1981 in Mobile, AL). Guess what dude, those were all democrats involved in the K K K and hanging blacks. Not Republicans. Now I know how liberals like to wrap themselves in the flag of civil rights but at least try to do it with a modicum of honesty.

As for your thread about Catholics I am truly mystified. Catholics are persecuted and have been from the beginning. So what? But no one is torching crosses in anyone's lawn and those of us who are conservative would not even understand the point. Frankly you may be confused about what a conservative is and believes and are confusing them with rednecks and racists (i.e., Archie's friends from North Georgia). As for Kennedy's election, oh that we actually had some Democrats today that espoused Kennedy's economic beliefs. In fact, a great many of the people I know that voted for Kennedy are now Republicans. Understandable since the GOP represents fiscal sanity and the Dems represent fiscal inanity (not insanity....just ignorant and ill informed). So if you want protection from hangings I suggest you vote for pro-gun, pro law enforcement Republicans.
