I live 80 miles from Nashville. It's a nice article, but look at the source and the writers. They have definitely put a positive slant on what they want this to be. From the local news reports it's not exactly the way USA Today portrays it. Those interviewed were very carefully selected, in my opinion. Their third point, support Occupy Wall Street is telling. If it were exactly like this then I would have no problem with their 1st Amandment right to speak their peace, nor their right to assemble peacefully.
