Boat floor and transom replacement work is doing fairly well for our part time business. I guess people are getting tired of seeing their boat sit in the yard waiting for the economy to improve.
Due to health problems of my own, I may have to get some more help on Saturdays to do the in-boat type work. The only problem is that doing the type work that we do only pays about 1/5 or less of what those on the mechanical side get, but it is still better than nothing and we are having a lot of fun and satisfaction restoring something that was otherwise dead (in the water).
