Here are some more truths:

The loss of jobs bottomed out in the first couple of months of Obama's first term. The tide turned and the monthly loss got smaller and smaller month by month. In early 2010 we moved into regular if uneven gains. The unemployment rate peaked at 10.1% and is now down to 8.3%. More than 90% ot the jobs lost after Jan 20 2009 have been regained. By bebruary 1, 2012 over half a million people are collecting paychecks that were out of a job when they sat down to Thanksgiving dinner in Nov 2011. Consumer confidence is rising, profits are at all time highs, the market is up, interest rates are at historic lows. The Republicans are walking off a cliff by refusuing to even consider giving their reasonable center / right even a crumb. Osama is dead! GM is alive!

Now, are we better off with Obama than we would have been with McCain? I have no idea. Are we worse off with Obama than we would have been with McCain? YOU HAVE NO IDEA!  I know you think you do but you don't. I can't remember whether it was Mark Twain or Will Rogers who said "Its not what a fellow knows for certain that gets him in trouble, it's what he knows for certain that's not right that causes him problems." WW...you have problems!

Obama is likely to be re-elected. The truth is hard to receive, harder to believe, harder still accept. Now put your head back in the sand.
