Well, no one offered to loan me their underwater posthole diggers so I could finish my dock steps project.  Therefore I had to go to plan B.  I have applied to the Corps of Engineers for a temporary variance of 282 feet for another week and a half.  I hope this doesn't inconvenience anyone, but I feel very positive my variance request will be granted.  You know how the federal government really tries to help the citizens and make life easier.  I'm sure it didn't hurt my chances when I casually mentioned that Mitt Romney had called me 3 times tonite and Rick Santorum twice (didn't even mention my many emails from Newt).  So if you have boats or docks that need to be adjusted for the level drop, do it soon (the Federal government also works fast)
