Feb is a bit more conservative than I am, but truthfully, neither of us is all that liberal on the overall spectrum. I'm probably a bit more cynical about politics, particularly when one party or the other says they are going to do something before they get in office. I'm a skeptic. I have a long history of voting Republican, but I'm really having trouble relating to the party anymore, so I guess I'm more Independent. There are some conservatives I like very much, but unfortunately, they aren't running. I believe in a strong national defense, and fiscal responsibility. But they have really lost me on social issues and the separation of church and state.
My father is very conservative (he would fit in well here).
