From Alan Dershowitz (well known liberal lawyer): “Most affidavits of probable cause are very thin. This is so thin that it won’t make it past a judge on a second degree murder charge,” Dershowitz said. “There’s simply nothing in there that would justify second degree murder.”

I don't know a lot about the facts of this case but have mostly been following the poverty/racism pimps like Jackson and Sharpton as they try to exploit the death of a young black man at the hands of a hispanic Democrat carrying a gun for their own financial gain. But Dershowitz's evaluation of the indictment is pretty scathing. Seems like politics may be more at work here than justice, especially since they refused to take it to a grand jury. Probably afraid to because of the probable violence when they fail to indict.

So they delay the inevitable. I just hope this gets to a courageous judge that will decide it on the merits instead of out of fear. Will be an interesting but likely sad spectacle as it plays itself out.
