I knew this was coming but so far will not effect me having fun this summer.... Low water makes me forget all about the high gas prices

Lake Conditions Message

Due to extremely dry conditions, Logan Martin Lake level will not reach its normal summer pool level. Efforts with state and federal agencies are underway to conserve where possible in order to help minimize potential impacts as we move into the drier seasons ahead.

Special Operations Message
Effective - 4/30/2012

Extremely dry conditions have strengthened across many parts of Alabama and are having a significant impact on Alabama Power reservoirs. As a result, certain Alabama Power storage lakes on the Coosa and Tallapoosa rivers will not reach their normal summer pool levels. People with boats and other water-related equipment and facilities should be alert to conditions on and below Alabama Power reservoirs, and take the necessary steps to protect their property.
