I know of several people who have been on the wrong side of RL but on the right side of the law, and guess who won? Hint: not those who had the law on their side. Why? Because sometimes, it's not about the law but about the rules, as in "He who has the gold makes the rules."

We're not talking about disagreements; we're talking about people trying to get their boat out of a Russell marina, only to be told "Boat? What boat?" We're taking about people opening a newspaper or magazine to find themselves quoted as saying things they never said. We're talking about landowners looking out their back windows and seeing a bulldozer clearing their trees off of their property.

Where did complaining get those people? Usually wishing they had just accepted that laws don't always apply to everyone. It's bad enough to lose your property or your good name, and then you wind up losing your house, your Club membership, or your job.
