I came across a mooring buoy, with the words "Dawg Daze" in reflective stickers on it, way back in a slough west of Scrushy's old mansion.

What is the protocol for mooring to a buoy that someone else put out?

I thought it would be a good place to tie off to and relax without the waves form the main water rocking the boat, but obviously whoever put it out thought the same thing i'm sure. I don't want to trespass or anything, but it is in public waters.
