I tried getting my pontoon boat out this weekend. When trying to crank, the alarm sound came on warning me of low 2 cycle oil. I put in about a quart only to see the oil dripping out into the lake. The motor turned over and I cranked it for about 10 seconds, but it smoked a lot, so I just cut it off.

This past winter was not too cold and I made sure all the water drained out when putting it up for the winter. Has anyone ever heard of this? I am hoping it is a seal or something concerning the oil injection.

Does anyone know how to get it touch with a good honest mechanic to come out to my boat house and take a look? Please help! Thank you.
