There are simply no limits to the power of the federal government to control our lives. Now that they have the power to force us to buy a product using the tax code and commerce clause they have unlimited power. Our only hope now is to use the ballot box to move out politicians that are willing to exercise that power. As more and more Americans become dependent upon the government that seems less and less likely. De Tocqueville was prophetic in his prediction about what would happen when Americans learned they could raid the treasury using the ballot box.

So here is my prediction. Unless Obama is defeated in November and the GOP regains control of the Senate with a filibuster proof majority (i.e., no RINOs) we are officially stuck with government control of health care and we will be just like Greece and Spain and Italy. While I am still optimistic that Oblamer can be defeated I doubt we will get enough seats in the Senate excluding RINOs to get rid of Obamacare.

I pity my children, grandchildren and so on....... Just sent $2,500 to Romney's campaign.
