I grew up in a blue collar family. My father died suddenly when I was 14 and my mother when I was 17 so I was partially raised by loving relatives. I had my first summer job in my uncle's service station at 13. I have worked fulltime for a living since I got out of college (still do at 68). I worked every summer while in college and parttime at least half the time while taking classes. I have invested well and now have a nest-egg that will keep my wife and me very comfortable for the rest of our lives and still leave a bit for my Daughter and her family. I have never taken a dime of government largesse unless you consider social security and medicare such. I have voted republican almost as many times as democratic over the years including W in '04 (Getting a lot more difficult in recent years because most Repubs running are as nutty as you and WW). I support humane capitol punishment if the evidence is absolutely beyond doubt, if there is any doubt what-so-ever I am opposed and cannot understand how any Christain could believe otherwise. I personally oppose abortion and would have begged and advised my daughter not to have one had she ever considered it, but I would never force my personal will on her and will forever fight any politician getting the power to do so and I really have a problem understanding the thought processes of any male who does not share that opinion...guess that make me a "baby killer" just like MM says...sorry!

PS: I have complete respect for you and complete respect for your right to your opinions...I just don't respect many of the opinions themselves and don't understand how a reasonably educated and sane person could hold them.
