GF, you have to understand that a great many Catholics in the NE and Midwest are cultural Catholics and come from a long Democrat tradition. So its not surprising to me that Obama will do well with them although I think the numbers are way too high. Bush won a majority of Catholics and Romney can as well. And I did notice you failed to mention another recent national poll showing Romney with a slight lead with Catholics. I would be willing to bet that this poll way oversampled Dems which is a Pew issue and why they make it very difficult to determine their methodology on their website.
