Is there a reason I should even care about their race, gender, ethnicity, religious beliefs or where they went to school? Those kind of things do not normally matter to me.......unless of course one of them were a black Muslim transgendered homosexual gay marriage activist hispanic asian who graduated from NYU with a degree in Women's Studies. That would be a bridge too far for me! :-)

What I look for in a SCOTUS justice is an originalist that actually believes in the Constitution and will judge the validity of laws in that light only. If they meet that test they could be a green space alien from the planet Zorba and I wouldn't care.........by the way, that last part was made up.......I don't actually believe the green space aliens are from the planet Zorba.......they're all from Mars and new rover will find them.......guaranteed.....you wait, they will find them.
