For my charcoal workhorse I use a Weber and I get sparks through the vent holes occasionally. I have trees and get leaves up under the deck so I'm concerned about ignition under the deck. Hard to get under the deck to clean it out too. I thought some surface that could be hosed off would be convenient too.
