My alternates are Standing Rib Roast &Leg of Lamb.

But the most spectacular is a Cassoulet. It's a layered affair with meat, sausage, white beans as the consistent content. If you are a duck hunter there are lots of recipes for that too. The classic French Cassoulet is too complex for me - anything Julia Child did usually is. But here's one that will give you a feel for it. This one is similar in take to the Julia Child recipe but not as complex.
