You make a good point. It would be a notable gesture if Mr. Obama and wife showed even a little empathy for those in dire poverty this time of year in lieu of the millions they "blow" on themselves. It woluld be mind boggling if someone would put a dollar figure on all the unnecessary boondoggles they have found time for during the past four years. In addition, I wonder if they ever think about the inconviences they cause the entourage of support personnel that are required for their "escapades". Do they show any concerns that these people will sacrifice many joyous times with their families and friends during the holidays while they frollick for 20 days in Hawaii. Also, just a reminder that Obama doesn't have any aircraft carriers, he has big ships that airplanes land on.
