There you go again Archie....er...uh....I mean GF....(I always forget which persona are using), assuming that everything we earn with our own blood, sweat and tears belongs to the government and that we should be grateful for what they let us keep. It is just that warped mentality that gave us Jimmy Carter's third term.

But more to the point, why would I complain about any tax reduction? On that note I have been 100% consistent. I think SS is a scam and if you or I ran a retirement system the way it has been run we would be spending the rest of our lives in a federal penitentiary somewhere......me trying to avoid being gang raped in the shower and you asking for seconds.....OK, that was a cheap shot....but kind of funny.

Here's a challenge for you. I get this nice statement from SSA every once in a while where it tells me I am going to get around $2,400 per month in benefits when I retire. I am 100% convinced I am not going to get one stinking dime out of all the money I was forced to put into this abomination. So here's the challenge, you agree to make up any difference between what they are telling me today I am going to get and what I actually get out of SS. If you agree to that in writing, I promise not to complain about FICA. Should be a no brainer for you as you seem to love the program and think its such a good deal for all of us.
