It just depends on how bad the oxidation is. If it is just dull but smooth I would probably go over it with a polishing compound, then an ultra polish, then wax. I try to get $25-30 /hour and figure the cost on how long I think it will take.
I did a Supra ski boat recently for $450 that required some wet sanding.
