Lifer, I share the same degree of anger as you do and this falls in line with my post below titled "What's Next". The announcement of Secretary of State Kerry follows on the heels of the recent decision to give 20 F-16 fighter aircraft and 200 tanks to Egypt. What makes it even a harder pill to swallow is that we are borrowing money from China to finance these actions. These types of giveaways are just the tip of the iceberg when compared to other giveaways we are providing around the world. While I am typing this post I see on the news that the total amount of aid(not including the value of the aircraft and tanks}, is $450,000,000. Also, just three years ago the Egyptian President Morsi{who at that time was a senior leader of the Muslim Brotherhood said to his fellow Egyptians,"we must never forget, brothers, to nurse our children and grandchildren on our hatred" of Jews and Zion ists. Also, in September 2010, Morsi disparaged Zionists as being "the descendants of apes and pigs". In Janurary 2011 on an Egyptian television show titled the "Program", Essam El Erain{a major figure in the Muslim Brotherhood and a presidential advisor", said that "Egyptian Jews in Israel should return to Egypt ostensibly in preparation for the end of the Israel's state", which he predicted would be in the next ten years. Does this not raise the question that the aircraft and tanks may be used against Israel? With all that I have said above, I believe if the "sequester" had been given the attention that we have given Egypt, the sequester would be a moot point.
