MM I say pox on Hillary and all senators who supported the war. To be sure they had the same cherry picked intelligence but also some very good questions raised by a few who questioned the intelligence. They forged ahead anyway to plunge us into a war of choice which cost dearly in life and treasure.

I do not consider that I am repeating a lie. There may not be a smoking gun on the cooked intelligence but there sure were and are a lot of questions which have not been answered. I think you need to take another look at the conclusions of the bi-partisan committee. True, no smoking gun but they certainly did not go so far as complete absolution of Cheney, Wolwitz, and the neo-conservative hawks. They also never got to the investigation of the Downing Street Memo (the smoking gun??) in the 2d installment of the investigation as promised in the next congress. I may be wrong but think I recall correctly that the GOP narrowly retook the senate and the 2d installment of the investigation for all practical purposes never happened.
