Just my .02

My neighbor and I shared a Seadoo. Worked pretty good for a while. But it never seemed to fail that when my daughter would fill it up with fuel and go ride, as soon as she got back to the pier for a break, his grand kids would show up and it was gone. And when it did come back, it was broke. Sharing was fine and financially beneficial for both of us. But when the extra people got involved, there was almost always an issue.

On the other side of the issue, my other neighbor borrows my pontoon a couple of times a year to carry his little ones for a ride. He always helps me clean it up and he returns it with more fuel than it leaves with. But there is no financial involvement on his part. Other than the fact that the old boat is only worth the amount of fuel that's in it..
