Years ago a hippie walked up to the bus station ticket counter in Columbus Ga. He asked what time the bus left to Auburn and was told 8:00 AM.

   Now bus departures and arrival were quoted in local time. Also the bus crosses a time zone and driving time just happened to be one hour.

" When does it get to Auburn," the Hippie asked.
   " 8:00 AM," the agent replied. "You want a ticket?"

   "No, man. I'm just going to stand here and watch it leave!"
