Obama is old news to them. Elect a black dude no matter his quals. Check! Elect a woman. Check! Elect a Transgendered Gay Eskomo. Check! It's all about assuaging guilt, regardless of whether it destroys the country. Heck, just look at the so called war on poverty. After 40 years and trillions wasted it is essentially unchanged. Why let those facts get in the way of making yourself feel better by using the govt and their guns to redistribute a little wealth.
