I recently tagged this with the DVR. I am so glad I did. It is awesome! For those that don't know, Gary Sinese played Lt. Dan in the 1994 movie "Forrest Gump". I had heard that he had a band that did USO Tours and such, but I had no idea how deep his, and his compatriots, commitment to our troops truly is till I watched this documentary.
I will spare you guys the details, because I could not do it justice in a post here. I debuted on the Documentary Channel very recently. I know there are a lot of veterans that frequent this forum so I wanted to pass along this info in the hopes that everyone that reads this will seek it out and watch it. Most DVR's have a search feature, use it, find it, tag it, watch it. You will be glad you did.
In the interest of full disclosure, you really should have the Kleenex nearby as it is very difficult to watch without occasionally tearing up with pride, sadness, patriotism, and joy, especially when the lady does the acoustic song she wrote for the troops about in the middle of the movie. I can't recall her name right now, but will make sure I note it when I watch it again, as I assure you I will. I protected it so it can't be deleted. It available on Amazon also, and maybe iTunes too.
