The hard-shell Baptist preacher is appalled when he sees the receipt for his wife's purchase of a $250 dress, "How could you do this to satisfy your wicked vanity? I preach in a poor country church and barely make enough to keep this family with a roof over our head and food on our plates. Just what demons possessed you to do such an abominable thing?"

She bursts into tears and replies "Well I saw the dress and knew it was too expensive but thought trying it on couldn't hurt, but when I got it on and saw myself in the mirror I felt so good and looked so beautiful. Then Satan came to me and said 'That dress is perfect on you. It shows off all your best features. You deserve doing something just for you on occasion and that dress make you look like a movie star...buy it!' so I did."

He is even more angry "Satan made you do it...you know how to deal with that...say 'Satan get thee behind me!' "

She wails "I did say that but then Satan said 'dang girl...you look even better from back here!' "
