Bigfoot is in the Paces Point FD which has a rating of 4. We get better rates than anyone around for fire, if you inform and watch your insurer. After experiencing hurricanes and insurance companies, I really can't make a recommendation, other than shop, shop, shop. Insurance companies love long term customers, because they can stick it to those who show loyalty and the homeowner loses because they don't realize they've been screwed, because they trusted their agent/company and didn't shop around. I shop rates before renewal every year.

BTW, someone else on the forum told me that SF rates by Zip Code, which is not fair to anyone in PPFD.
