I would like to pat myself on back and claim some special insight but anyone with a modicum of economic intelligence could have predicted the oh so predictable outcome of the latest government intervention in the free market system. It happens the same way every time its been tried ala the housing bubble burst as a result of Fannie, Freddie and CRA. And now we will see this correction of the equity markets continue every time the Fed hints that the spigot is going to be turned off.

I know certain economic illiterati will try to tell us that this is somehow a failure of capitalism despite every objective fact being counter to that false premise. Government intervention in the markets will always cause a bubble. Government intervention in any segment of society will always cost more than the free market and reduce our freedoms, economic and otherwise. It has happened every time and will happen every time........it is the nature of government from the beginning.
