Easier said than done. To follow the Cecil's model, you have to hire someone who knows the restaurant business, someone who knows the local area, and someone who knows that you have to give people a reason to come, and more importantly, come back. (And you have to do this in the face of more competition than Cecil faced.)

The ONE thing that Cecil did that no one in that space has done since is: he did it all without the "input" of Russell Lands.

That's a big reason for his unprecedented success. It's also the reason that he is no longer in this area.
