Thought I would get a bigger audience here than on the Maintenance tab.

Any thoughts on the realative strengths and weaknesses in the MerCruiser vs. Volvo Penta drives when matched with a 4.3 or 5.0 engine? I am particularly interested in the Alpha vs. comparable Volvo.
