The natives are getting restless so Bruce will probably get a bunch of emails requesting I be ejaculated from the forum but here goes.

To the people of PP. It is not that I have anything against you. The few people that I know who live there are fine folks. My problem is with the people that think just because you do not live there and don't have secret information that they have that you do not have a right to take a position as to whether or not PP is good for Lake Martin.

Lets face facts, PP bills itself as a "trailer park" on its web site. It is covered with mobile homes and trailers, some of which have had endless homemade additions, many of which were not permitted. The septic system is inadequate as has been determined by the proper authorities. Some of the residents turned the park in to authorities for having faulty septic tanks, multiple hookups to single dwelling septic tanks and field lines running to close to the lake with improper percolation or no perk tests whatsoever. In addition, there have been found to be discharges into Lake Martin. Some say it is grey water other say otherwise. It doesn't matter, there should be no such discharges.

The county health authorities have addressed the issue with APCO and the lessee was given the opportunity to fix the problem. The lessee after having taken multiple bids, appears to have determined that the cost removing improper septic systems and installing new ones would be in the milllion dollar range and thus cost prohibitive.

At that point APCO made the determination that in the interest of the share holders of SO, that the prudent policy would be to not renew the lease and to have the trailer owners remove their trailers and add ons.

The real question is what is the greatest good for the greatest number and I think APCO came up with the right answer. Many of you post that the trailer at PP is just a weekend place and that you live in a 5000 sqft home as your full time residence. To those of you for whom this is true, ask yourself the question, would I want PP sans the lake to be located across the street from of appurtenant to my full time residence. I think the answer is obvious.

Well guess what, PP is next door to, around the corner from, and across the street from lots of full time 5000sqft residences.

Would you want people coming to your neighborhood parking trailers with inadequate septic systems, unpermitted homemade additions and dumping "grey water" into the public park. If you say yes then you are a liar.

What would happen to the lake if all 760 miles of shore were turned into PP, with a population density and housing density like PP. And septic systems like PP. I can tell you, NO ONE WOULD WANT TO BE HERE.

Next question is, If PP can have unpermitted structures and unpermitted septic systems and discharges into lake Martin why shouldn't everybody?

It is like Coach Saban said, we live in a society where people don't want to follow the rules. If you make a rule that you have to have your dog on a leash, somebody is going to want to not have their dog on a leash.

And interestingly enough the people that don't want to follow the rules regarding permiting, sewage control, and vacating when told to do so by the property owner, are the same people that seek to have Bruce ejaculate me from the forum because, in there mind I have violated some vague rule, which only Bruce has the authority to determine if it has been violated. Since it is his money, I have no problem with that.

Well now it is your turn to respond to the above by telling me that I can't say that because I don't know the hole story. Too late for that, I said it.
