Mr. Hunt makes some good points concerning the Pleasure Point Trailer Court. The facts are pretty simple. The trailer space renters, who knows how many, have been caught violating all sorts of health and septic tank laws. The real question I would like to have answered by the Health Dept. is: Can you put that many septic tanks on that property with lots that small, under any conditions. It has been reported that the lots are about 1/3 of an acre on average, and from what I've seen many of the trailers are on much smaller lots. My guess is the only possibilities include reducing the number of trailers to allow for space for septic tanks and field lines, or installing a central sewer system, which will be very expensive. Regardless of the options, some residents are not going to be happy, but to those oversensitive souls that are offended by posts on this website, may I remind you all that you collectively as a trailer park have been knowingly violating health laws. You saved a few bucks, but now it's time to pay up. Whatever the outcome, hopefully the lake will be prettier and cleaner as a result.
