Simply put, the lessee who leases from APC is in violation as a commercial operation so the entire park is in violation. Someone posted today that the old lady owned the septic system and didn't allow anyone to mess with it. That means the whole park is in violation. I believe DJ said that sewage was surfacing in a road and they put more gravel on it to cover it up. My guess is this will be treated as a commercial health violation, not a residential which means more strict oversight. Remember, it's not some lone trailer in the middle of nowhere. The problem has been in the news, you've got politicians involved, etc.; therefore, the spotlight will not disappear till there is a resolution. My guess is if the renters are allowed to stay, a central sewer system will be required at great expense and rent will go way up and some trailers will be forced out. APC may turn it into a campground to meet FERC requirements. Just my thoughts.
