6 cyl Inboard - headed around the lake all is well, till motor tried to cut off, seemed like a fuel issue, I pumped the fuel and turned for home. Gave it about 3/4 fuel but it wasn't running up to speed then after about 1 minute it shot out like a bat outa hell.

About 1 mile later my wife lost her cap. Turned to go back and as we pulled up boat cut off. Got it cranked by pumping fuel into it.. Got home and it cut off coming in to boat ramp...

Went out today to look at it. I poured fuel in carb and cranked it by pumping the accelerator hard. It will run with 1/2 or more fuel but if I pull back it cuts off.

Wondering should I replace plugs or stick to fuel theory?

Thoughts?
