I don't care to hear loud boats at Lake Martin either. but if I lived down there and knew it was only an occasional weekend, I would choose to go see relatives, go to New Orleans for the weekend, or something like that. The event has got to be good for the local economy, and a weekend a year can and should be tolerated. If they had it every other weekend I'd be lookng to sell, and only show the place on non-boat weekends.....lol
