If you own or run a business or supervise employees within a business organization, where do you get your information on the performance of those under your supervision? If you are doing your job, you have hired or appointed employees who are capable of managing  the responsibilities they have been entrusted with. If there are problems, you expect to be kept informed so there are no surprises and you can take action when necessary. Hopefully, you don't learn of problems from the "news" as it has been documented that the "news" is where President Obama becomes aware of the problems so prevalent in his administration. Last night on the "television news" there were scenes of President Obama answering questions about Fast and Furious, Benghazi, IRS, NSA's spying debacle, Obamacare, and others. When questioned about each one of these situations, his response was that he first learned of these problems from the "news". All of these are significant problems that have surfaced under his administration{managed by his appointees}, yet he learns about their problems from the "news". If you or I failed to keep our supervisors advised of significant problems occurring under our management, we would be subject to critical review of our managerial abilities up to and including firing. Yet President Obama gets a "pass" because he didn't know there was a problem. I thought he was elected President of the United States to "lead", not to blame others or hide under the guise that he didn't know what was happening under his "watch". I never had a supervisor that would accept "I didn't know there was a problem" as an excuse for not knowing there were problems in my area of responsibility.
