His "naked babe" could have been... well... at least cute. But she was always too stoned (or bummed out) to care for herself. As I recall, they both had "body odor." I NEVER saw their baby girl in anything but diapers. They had no real furniture... but a h3ll of a (reel-to-reel) stereo system on board-and-cinder-block shelves. I assume they had enough kitchen ware to make brownies.

The rest of the story: He ran off to Canada. You could dodge the draft in Canada... but not desertion. Her father, managed to learn when and where he was crossing the border of Vancouver to see her. He "arranged" for the military police to attend the meeting. I don't know the UCMJ outcome of that. I was on orders to Germany at the time.
