Hmmm… I wasn’t suggesting that. But, if you need to, I suppose you should. 

I have an aunt… mother to my four male cousins… who made an edict after the baseboard heater began to rust next to the commode in their bathroom. “Boys, if you can’t aim any better than that, then sit down to pee. You boys may want to… because, I am NOT cleaning your bathroom from now on.” 

Imagine that one of the women you love… or any woman… comes into the bathroom after you draw, shoot, n shake over the commode. Don’t you think she deserves better than to sit with her feet in your golden puddle? If nobody cleans up after you, it begins to smell like the men’s room at Jordan Hare stadium. 

I consider it gentlemanly… especially at my age… to sit down for point blank accuracy. The only time I stand up to water the lilies is when I am in the woods. Take a good look at the floor on your next address of a urinal. Ask yourself if the lago de oro in which you are standing is some proof of manhood. Trust me… the girls don’t think so. 

The transition from manly to gentlemanly is a matter of consideration.
