Col Oliver North dived on his sword over the Iran Contra affair. Later he was exonerated. He had not actually committed any crime. (What would have happened if... during our Revolutionary War... the French government had changed parties in power and suddenly withheld support for our patriots? Congress had done that to the Contras.)

If she managed the IRS political suppression, MZ Lerner on the other hand HAS committed a crime. If Democrats remain in power, she will get off. Me thinks she is not betting on Democrats remaining in power.

If she can connect the Pretender to the scheme… and does so… she will see the bottom side of a bus… maybe even lose her life. My hunch is that she’s already been warned… if not outright threatened.
