But GF, this isn't once a week.  Just look at Chicago where kids are killing each by the droves every day in gang related violence.  For some reason black kids killing black kids is not news but some obviously disturbed white kid in Oregon going into a school and shooting someone is national news.  Why doesn't the media care about the carnage in Chicago, Detroit, Miami, LA, DC, etc.?  Why the focus on isolated school shootings?  

I know the answer to that but am curious if you have one.  Makes you wonder what is happening to our society that kids so easily turn to violence.  It's the culture that we need to be concerned about......and the media is not doing their job in favor of their ideology.
