Except that birth control is widely avaiable today and accessible by just about anyone and yet, we have a huge problem with unwanted teen pregnancies.  One would think that if you advocated for more of something to cause less of something and the exact opposite happens that one would conclude that more of something is not working.  But not with liberals.......all that counts is their best intentions and what actually happens is immaterial.

But let me be clear (to paraphrase a favorite line of your false god), by far the most obvious causal relationship is teen pregnancy and poverty.  So I am all for the reduction of teen pregancy as long as it does not inlcude abortion or abortifacient contraceptives.  But I would use every tool in the arsenal, including abstinence education.  The good news is that the the teen pregnancy rate is dropping right along with the rate of sexual activity by teens, I believe because Millennials have observed the impacts and are making other choices.  sadly, that is not as prevalent in the black community which speaks to the need for more education with an emphasis on abstinence.  I know, they are going to do it anyway, right?  Well I would rather have fewer teen pregnancies with abstinence only programs than more preganancies with our current sex ed system.
