I have known and stated for years that the "situations" the race baiters insert themselves into is very selective.  We all know they only do it for the money and glory, not for the victims or families.  It nevers ceases to amaze me when and where they choose to show their indignation.  It seems they will jump all over the cases that are dubious at best while ignoring truely horrendous behavoir elsewhere.  Case in point Akai Gurely the 28yo unarmed man shot by a rookie NYPD officer in a dark starwell last week.  The officers phone records reveal he texted his union rep before calling 911 for medical help.  This is a true tragedy and if these facts bear out the cop should go to jail for careless disregard for human life if nothing else.  It also speaks volumes about the mindset of public sector union members IMHO.

We have nationwide "protest" and "sharpton shopping sprees" for malcontents to voice their opinion over the death of two black men that both were responsible for the events that took their life by resisting arrest and a littany of other offenses.  If both had simply followed lawful commands from the officers they would still be alive today.  I have no sympathy or empathy for either of them or their families.  Did they desrve to die for their indesrcetions and crimes? No, but nor would they if they had simply obeyed the law.

Most of you probably never heard of John Crawford III either.  He was a 22yo black man that went into the Walmart in Beaver Creek Ohio to purchase a BB gun for a kids birthday.  He took the TOY off the shelf and continues through the store talking to his girlfriend on the phone.  Someone sees him and calls 911 reporting a black man with a gun inside Walmart.  Less than 3 seconds after the cop makes eye contact he was shot.  The first shot was not a fatal wound, but the subsequent ones were.  He was still on the phone when shot.  HIs girlfreind reported hearing him holler "it's just a toy". The grand jury delivered no bill in this case also.

I am a law and order kinda guy but this case stinks.  There is plenty out there to read and watch on this case including the video footage from several different camera angles.  I think the DA covered the cop in this one.  I read an interview with two of the grand jurors after the fact that admitted to being hoodwinked by the DA after their term was up.  It took right at 3 minutes for the two cops to arrive on scene.  In that time no additional calls came in about a gunman so it would seem obviuos there wasn't the kind of chaos one would expect in an "active shooter" or an  "armed intruder" situation, yet the officers came in in full tactical mode, crouched, weapons up, from different directions.  They claim that they identified themselves and demanded he drop the gun.  The first officer fired within 3 seconds of having a line of sight.  I realize that 3 seconds can be the difference between life an death to a cop but if you watch the videos of the cops making their way through the store you can see the only one causing a disturbance is them.  Crawford was all the way in the corner of the store and as the cops make way through the store you can see it is business as usual.  Watch the videos and draw your own conclusions.

But back to the selective outrage.  The difference is the families of the deceased.  In the face of tragic circumstances like these mot families just want to be left alone to greive but there are some who see these tragidies as a wasy to "cash in".  They, like Sharpton, want to get paid.  Reports are that the hustler tried to worm his way into the Gurley situation announcing he would be delivering the eulogy but the family said he was "persona non grata" at the wake.  When asked about that statement from the family the slimey one stated he would have to get in touch with the girlfriend because she is the one that had invited him.  I don't know if he showed or not, but I would bet on NOT since I haven't seen the sleazball on TV bloviating about this case.  Just proof in point that he is only outraged when it can lead to HIM GeTTING PAID!
