Well, as we have been saying for many years the left has repeatedly lied about the lack of WMDs in Iraq and the NY Times today has provided even more proof.  Not that left wing nuts will ever admit that they were lied to about WMDs because there is no doubt that Senators like Billary and others knew the truth.

So Operation Avarice resulted in the purchase of loads of chemical weapons in Iraq over a number of years after the invasion.....but hey, why let the truth get in the way of a good ideological slam of the Bush administration that is happening even today.  Talk about low information types.  And kudos to the Bush administration for taking the heat on the alleged lack of WMDs so this program could be effective in reducing the proliferation of WMDs.  I know, now we are going to hear the other lie that only nukes are WMDs.  Combining stupidity with dishonesty is a very liberal thing to do.......

So to summarize, Saddam did indeed have WMDs.  Now that it no longer matters even the NY Times is admitting the truth.  Those of us that used common sense (to wit, he had to have WMDs because he used them on the Kurds) are once again vindicated.  Not that I am surprised.....
