The media… especially FOX news… has repeatedly compared Barack Obama to Jimmy Carter in comparison for the unfortunate title of “worst president.”  Though the effect of these two presidencies has been disastrous for our country, the comparison between the two men is strangely quiescent on one characteristic: That of personal morality. 

Jimmy Carter was (is) a man of high and unchallengeable moral character.  He clearly believed(s) in the tenets of his (Christian) faith and sought to apply them to his actions as president. In the face of a bullyish, violent, uncharitable middle east, his policies failed… he was regarded as weak and was taken advantage of.  (That appreciation reversed itself IMMEDIATELY upon the ascendency of Ronal Reagan.) He availed himself to the poor.  The poor availed themselves of Jimmy Carter.  His economic polies were calamitous. 

But, Jimmy Carter is an honorable man of God! 

To the contrary, Barack Obama has no discernable moral character. His ideals are obscured… if not completely lacking… or worst yet, concealed. Barack Obama has no credentials.  His personal certifications are intentionally withheld from public analysis.  His prior associations are discounted and obfuscated.  Barrack Obama has NO accomplishments. 

Jimmy Carter never tried to hide anything. He even went so far as to admit his vulnerability to temptation.  I do not percieve that Jimmy Carter attempted to parlay his position for personal gain. President Carter’s capital inadequacies came in the failure of the cannibalistic world’s failure to respect his turning of the other cheek. Jimmy Carter was naïve. 

Obama, on the other hand, must be regarded in the highest state of vigilance. His word cannot be trusted.  At least one hand is always hidden. He has only two dimensions… the third, his past… is not of enough substance to understand him. He is an organizer of action without responsibility for the results of such action. His organization has a face… and only a face. There is no body. There is no humanity. Obama puts on his cuff links with more deliberation than he conducts foreign policy.  After all… the cuff links bear the presidential seal. The Obama presidency is an advertising campaign… and the product is Barrack Obama. Barrack Obama is narcissistic. 

I would cherish the opportunity to sit at lunch or evening meal with Jimmy Carter. He would have much to say to me and I would have much to learn. 

I wouldn’t give Barrack Obama the time of day.
