i own 2 house on this lake. my question is why is the flood level on this lake at 928 ft and the normal pool level is 920 ft. I know that on the new side of the lake you have a flood gate that lets water out before it reaches flood level but the problem is that people houses get flooded  before water goes over the emergency spill way.  it seems to me that that the emergency spill way should start letting water go out of the lake at 923 or 924 ft  and not maxium flood stage this could be fixed  very easley by lowering the emergency spill way by 4 ft and prople would not have to be flooded . I hope you have a good answer for this question  cause right now they are a lot of people on this lake wanting to know how this problem is going to get fixed and how soon. because these houses do not have to flood.
