Tascman:  And the wisdom of the approach you stated shows, now that all the reserve between Full Pool and Flood Pool is used up.  It is interesting to note that Ray Hubbard has been able to keep that level within a half-foot of Full Pool, enabling them to absorb Lavon opening its gates to the max (which I presume must be happening).  I just wonder what happens in the next couple of days when the Lavon watershed area, already saturated, gets some more downpour.  I expect (and pray) that by now the highway department has plans to close off any roadways in danger of flash flooding from a dam overflow before it actually happens.
